One for All Videos

To kick off 2017, there's a brand new animated resource to support your One for All campaign efforts.

There's never a bad time to welcome new faces to our sections and by using this new resource, you can really share to the wider community all the great things that are on offer through The Boys' Brigade.

Check out the video at

As a key addition to the One for All campaign, The Boys' Brigade has commissioned a short animated video. The video aims to target particular stakeholders, most notably teachers, parents/carers and young people.

The production isn't campaign specific ensuring that it stays a relevant resource for the next few sessions.

What are the messages of the campaign video?

The video stresses what individual young people can achieve and gain from their BB journey and, specifically:

  • The BB brings people together, engages people of all ages in activities they may never normally experience.
  • From expeditions to nature trails, camps to canoeing and even overseas visits, the BB gives young people the space to discover, to grow and to learn.
  • The BB helps young people realise their full worth.
  • Whether it is a specific talent, strength or helping them to excel at being a leader, a team player or to simply make friends and help others, the BB helps young people achieve.

Are there different versions?

Yes, there are versions to reflect contact details for each region. There are also full and shortened versions of the video.

Where can the videos be downloaded?

They are available to download via The Boys' Brigade Vimeo channel at (just click on the video to play and below you will find a 'Download' button).

Where is the best place to use the new video?

Like other recruitment resources, you can use the production at a school assembly or similar. It may also be effective when delivering a presentation to a church to set up a new Company.

However, the most effective place to share this resource is online via video streaming on YouTube or Vimeo; your own website; and on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It is recommended that you use the shortened versions for use on social media.

What else should be included along with video?

A video is only effective if you include a 'call to action' alongside it. In other words, it is really important that you include information on when sections meet and where to find out more information. For instance, Facebook allows you to add a link to a website at the end - this could be your own website or The Boys' Brigade one.

When should the video be used?

Please feel free to use this resource at a time which best suits you. However, there is going to be an extra focus for the first two weeks of January.
To add some extra punch, Twitter users are invited to take part in a 'Thunderclap' - Learn more here.

Can my section still join the One for All campaign?

Yes! The campaign will be running up until Easter. Sign up now to receive regular updates.
